Our Six-Week Christmas Giveaway Event

To celebrate the festive season, we’re collaborating with some incredible local businesses here in Norfolk to offer you the chance to win some wonderful prizes. 

As a small business ourselves, we understand the importance of supporting other small local stores, artists and creators. By shining a spotlight on the talent that can be found here in our fine city, we can help each other grow and encourage the attention each business deserves.

In this post, we’re going to introduce each of the small brands we’ll be collaborating with over the next six weeks, starting from the first giveaway on November 19th. We can’t wait to share their wonderful products and services with you.

Who are we collaborating with?

Let’s dive straight in and discover the six lovely local businesses we’re working with throughout our giveaway.

Week 1 – Doxi Cocktails

Do you enjoy a tipple at the end of a long day or during your weekend downtime? Then Doxi Cocktails is the brand for you. Born as a mobile bar in 2020 by cocktail-loving duo Amy and Stephen in Norfolk, this business has evolved over the years to become Doxi, an online cocktail brand made using delicious and fresh ingredients, some grown in Amy and Stephen’s own allotment, with compost made of the waste products when creating their cocktails. Sustainable and delicious!

Week 1 prize: By entering this giveaway, you’ll have the chance to win a cocktail gift set containing three 100ml bottles of cocktails of your choice. With Christmas and New Year’s Eve coming up, this gift set will certainly come in handy.

Week 2 – Norfolk Market Photography

Alannah of Norfolk Market Photography specialises in capturing beautiful moments from incredible days. Be it a wedding, birthday, or just time spent with family, Alannah takes stunning photos that truly commemorate the most special events.

Week 2 prize: By entering this giveaway, you will be in with the chance to win an amazing engagement shoot, couple’s shoot or family shoot worth £200. This free photoshoot is the perfect way to capture an event or relationship you’d like to cherish always through beautiful photography.

Week 3 – Sew Sophie Crafts

If you’re a craft fanatic or would like to discover a new creative hobby, then you’ll love our third collaborative giveaway. Sew Sophie Crafts began in 2019 when Sophie had just given birth to her son and officially decided she’d like to be her own boss. Over the last five years, she has built a studio for her craft business in her garden and watched her brand grow leaps and bounds.

Week 3 prize: By entering this giveaway, you could win the festive frame kit, a beautiful cross-stitch set where you can create your own floral frame art. The kit includes everything you’ll need, including the embroidery hoop, fabric, threads, needle, and helpful instructions for making a festive-themed flower frame cross stitch. In the centre of the design, you’ll sew corner threads that allow you to slip a photo into place, resulting in a beautiful, homemade frame-style piece.

Week 4 – Doodle Doughnuts

Who doesn’t love a good doughnut with their cup of tea or coffee? Doodle Doughnuts came to be when the owner (and baker, and seller, and everything else) Gemma decided to try her hand at making doughnuts and became instantly hooked. In 2017, she created Doodle Doughnuts, named for the uniqueness of each handmade doughnut, like a doodle. Selling at events and popups, Doodle Doughnuts delivers the most delectable, vegan sweet treats you’ll find.

Week 4 prize: By entering this giveaway, you’ll have the opportunity to win a box of 6 festive-themed mini chocolate-filled vegan doughnuts, all baked with love by Gemma herself.

Week 5 – Alex Rimell Sax

You’ve not heard the saxophone quite like this. Alex Rimell is a saxophonist supreme, incredibly popular in the wedding and event world for his expert musical talents. Alex started playing the saxophone at 7 years old and it was quickly realised by those around him that he had a natural skill. At only 17, he started playing professionally at weddings, and now, 8 years later, he is often fully booked a year in advance for weddings, parties and events.

Week 5 prize: By entering our fifth giveaway, you’ll have the chance to win a free hour of Alex Sax music at your event, be it a wedding, engagement party, or other function. Dance the night away to those beautiful, brassy tunes with the added benefit of knowing it’s free of charge.

Week 6 – Aleks Jewellers/Chaucer Barn

Our final collaboration gives you prizes from ourselves and the incredible Norfolk wedding venue Chaucer Barn. As mentioned in our best autumn wedding venues post, Chaucer Barn offers something special for everyone. This stunning venue offers it all, from its cathedral-style barn to its chic, contemporary pink sitting room to its expansive, manicured gardens. 

Week 4 prize: By entering this giveaway, you could win a hamper containing a £50 voucher to spend in-store at Aleks Jewellers and a mini bottle of prosecco, a candle, and chocolates from Chaucer Barn.
